Rakabama

Tonight we were reading in the Book of Mormon about Pahoran's sons fighting over who would be the next chief judge. We were explaining to Lydia that a chief judge is like a president. She said, "Oh you mean like Rakabama fighting with that other guy?" I cracked up laughing. When I finally got it together. I asked where she had heard that and she said, "in the car when you listen to the news." Maybe I need to limit the amount of AM radio she is listening to.

Our Garden

Here is a pic of our garden. I am very proud of it. It is growing much better that I had anticipated. I planted watermelon and cantloupe for the first time. They have grown much bigger then I thought they would, so the garden is a bit cramped on one side. The pole bean towers are about 6 ft high to give you and idea of the size.

This plant just started growing in my flower garden. At first I thought it was a sunflower so I let it grow. Obviously, it is not a sunflower. I am thinking it is a pumpkin. How it got there, I have no idea. If any of you know what it is, let me know.

Funny Picture

I was cuddling with Lydia tonight when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw something strange. She has TinkerBell sticker on her wall, but apparently unsatisfied with Tinkerbell's immodest clothing, she decided to cover her up. But it made it look like poor Piglet has sprouted some legs.

Happy Birthday Annabelle!

Happy 2nd Birthday Annabelle!

I can't believe she is 2 years old already. Time is going by so fast. She is turning into such a doll (some people say she looks like a Cabbage Patch Doll). She loves to cuddle and doesn't talk as much as Lydia. She loves to sing and can almost sing Twinkle Little Star all by herself. We love you Annabelle!

thirsty dog

Here is Roo having a drink

new family member...it's a boy

Here is the newest member of our family. His name is Akamaru (Japanese for canine), we call him Roo because he likes to jop around. A friend of mine is moving and could not take him with her so we have adopted him. He is 6 months old and is a toy poodle. He is a good dog so far. Still learning to go outside and how to get along with the girls. He had really long hair, it was getting shaggy and he needed a cut. He likes to sit under the table during dinner and Annabelle drops food on him so he had lots of crusty rice and macaroni stuck in his fur. He can't go to the groomers until we have his papers (which my friend can't find since she is in the middle of a move). So we gave him a trim ourselves. It wasn't too hard and he looks so much better.

KitchenAid is the best

As most of you know, I love to cook. I use my KitchenAid mixer 4-5 times a week. So you can imagine how upset I was the other day when I was beating some eggs and there was a loud pop and sparks flew out the back of my mixer. Now when I plug my mixer in, even though the switch is in the "off" position it still runs on medium speed. My friend Valerie suggested I call KitchenAid (even though the warranty expired years ago) so I did. I explained the situation, was put on hold for 3 minutes and then they told me they are sending me a new one for free! I am so excited!

Caught up with the world

Yea! The Muster Family is now caught up with the rest of the world (except for not owning a Blackberry anyway). Hopefully we can keep this up and keep you updated on our lives.
