All Choked Up

Lydia was sooooo sweet last night. We were laying in bed cuddling and I was telling her that I have to go to the grocery store to buy Annabelle special milk because of her allergies. I tucked her in and went downstairs. Five minutes later Lydia came downstairs saying she was scared (she is not really scared, it's just a trick she tries to play so she can stay up later). We had just made a rule that if she gets out of bed then we take a nickle away. So I told her to get back in bed and that she was going to be losing a nickle. About 10 minutes later I went upstairs and and went to her bank to get a nickle. She told me she had already put money in my room and she would show me. So we go into our room and there is a bucket with all her change in it. She says to me, "I want to help you buy the special milk for Annabelle, so I gave you my money." I thought I was going to cry. I gave her a big hug, thanked her for being such a good girl, gave her back her money (except 1 nickle) and put her back to bed.

Crazy Carrots!

We finally harvested our carrots. I thought these two were so funny because they looked like legs. So thanks to Barbie, they have shoes now.

Sweet Spaghetti

Lydia and I made this "sweet spaghetti." We got the idea from a book that Marianne sent us (Thanks Marianne!)

We went to the library this week, and Lydia asked, "Why is it called the "lie-barry"? They don't lie there, and they don't bury books either." I just thought it was really funny.

Pumpkin Mosaic

The idea for this came one night when I couldn't sleep. Sometimes sleeplessness has it's benefits.

Annabelle Allergies

We took Annabelle to a new allergist today. They did a skin test again, but instead of just pricking her skin, they actually injected the allergens in. And guess what? She is not allergic to peanuts or eggs. She is allergic to milk, malt, cats, and slightly to soy. So starting today, she will be dairy free and hopefully will start feeling 100% all the time (insted of rarely like she does now). I feel awful since for the last 6 months we have been avoiding foods that she wasn't allergic and giving her a glass of milk every morning. Poor kid!
This is just a glass project I made. It was Lydia's idea to do a tree and I really like the way it came out. I can't decide if I want to sell it or not.

David's 1st Birthday Cake

Lorelei was kind enough to ask me to make a cake for David's 1st Birthday. It was fun to make and hopefully everyone will like it. The car can come off, so that will be "David's cake" to dig into and make a mess out of.

Our House

A while ago, Lauren asked me to do some videos of our house because she has never seen it. Since the house was relatively clean, I thought it would be a good time. I didn't include any of dad's house because it is a big mess right now.

Labor Day Fun Park

The weather on Labor Day was awful this year. Rain, and I even think there was some sleet. I shouldn't really complain though, we need the moisture. We went to Logan to Celebration Point and the kids had a really good time.

Annabelle wouldn't actually go down the slide, she just played on the bottom part.
Lydia loved going down upsidedown
Annabelle kept getting stuck in here and I had to go get her out

I just thought the inside of the flower was cool
This picture is called "Multi-tasking Goes Wrong" I was doing laundry, cleaning the house, making dinner all at the same time and I decided to water the plants too. I got a little distracted and forgot the water was on and flooded the front garden. Oops!
Lydia's kindergarten class
Daddy found this in the garden
Lydia thought it was gross, but was sad when daddy put it back outside
